Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Description:

This BCBA position requires directly working with students/clients in a 1:1 setting rather than supervising others but could lead to a supervisory position in the future.

  • Use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis & Verbal Behavior in treating children (age 2-12) with ASD/DD
  • Implement one-on-one treatment of problem behaviors targeted for deceleration
  • Implement one-on-one training of acquisition, language, social and academic skills
  • Graph acquisition and decel behaviors weekly
  • Daily data collection
  • Update maintenance and skill tracking weekly
  • Replenish drawers with novel stimuli weekly and new materials for new targets
  • Material preparation for your clients/students
  • Assist in the programming design for acquisition and deceleration targets
  • Write daily session notes
  • Attend occasional ABA trainings at our facility
  • Monitor program implementation of therapists on their team
  • Participate in staff oversight and training to implement curriculum and programs
  • Design programs for acquisition targets
  • Participate in initial consultations and ongoing parent meetings
  • Monitor program writing of therapists on your team
  • Develop lesson plans targeting specific goals
  • Conducts evaluations and assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Essentials for Living)
  • Manage client data including organizing previous data collected, updating acquisition/maintenance programs on a weekly basis, graphing acceleration/deceleration data, etc.
  • Creating initial treatment plans, monthly summaries, treatment plan updates and other documents as required by the client’s insurance company (billing and submission will be completed by our in-house insurance specialist)
  • Submit work for supervisory review by specified deadlines
  • Assists with training of new therapists
  • Maintain a positive and calm attitude when stressful situations arise
  • Team play in every situation and works to represent the best in all members of team
  • Participates in lead meetings
  • Solution oriented and initiates problem solving strategies rather than stating the problem
  • Honest and trustworthy with confidential matters

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working with special needs children (specifically ASD and Developmental Delays) for at least 1 year
  • Must be current & active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience with Verbal Behavior is a plus
  • Experience using the ABLLS-R and/or VB-MAPP is a plus

Behavior Technician

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education or related field
  • Experience working with special needs children (specifically ASD and/or Developmental Delays) for at least one year
  • Experience/Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred but not required
  • Master’s degree or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is a plus but not required
  • Pass a Level II background check
  • PCM certified a plus but not required

Job Details:

Positions Available:
We currently have full-time and part-time positions available. All positions will require some weekly at-home program development/maintenance work.
